Vacation

I haven't written in a while - I've been SO busy with finals and work! I'm out of school until January, and after I work Monday and Tuesday of this week, I'm out of work until January 5th. I can't wait for the break! I'm not planning on doing anything extraordinary during my break, but the luxury to sleep whenever I want / don't want to will be great, and I'll even have time to detail my cars! I can clean my room, paint my nails, and touch up my hair with fresh pink dye - wow, the menial little possibilities. I've also been busy improving www.lightsabercrew.com - there are actually a lot of users of that forum, and they all depend on / cry to me to keep giving it improvements and keep it running smoothly. During my Christmas break I plan to design a sister site, the light side, to it's current dark side, and add a portal to the forum, as well as other minor mods.Last Tuesday I went to an Ill Nino / Sevendust concert at the House of Blues Anaheim - it was awesome. I went with my brother, my boyfriend, his sister, and her boyfriend. Unfortunately we missed the beginning of Ill Nino's set, who we all primarily wanted to see. We all like Sevendust, and they had a great set, but Ill Nino tore it up. Then I took my Physics final the next morning at 8 a.m. I hardly had any sleep the night before, and I believe that contributed to my mistakes - I did shit like used the force of friction throughout an entire problem instead of the work of friction, and on one problem, we were instructed to solve by dynamics, and I used energy. Damn sleep - I should really do that more often. Then, that night, I went to the Static-x show at the same venue, with my brother, my boyfriend, his sister, and 3 of our friends. I haven't seen them since their "Machine" record release party at the Troubadour in Hollywood, I believe... it was well worth the wait. I hadn't seen them with their new drummer yet. He's excellent. Since the passing of Lynn Strait (Snot), Static has done a great job of filling Snot's shoes as my favorite live band. We were all too tired to see the (hed) show the next day - but we've seen hed live at least 60 times, and probably 10 times just this year. I've also seen Static almost that many times, but had gone too long without a show. Speaking of music, the new Spineshank album is the best album of the year. Go pick it up!We are going to have a small kickback at my house for the New Year. No one is in the mood for a large party. We had one of those pretty recently and I think we're still mentally recuperating. I finished all my Christmas shopping - I haven't bought anything for my best friend. I never know what to get her. We don't actually hang out enough, I think, for me to be able to know what she wants. I doubt she'll get me anything either - we'll probably go treat each other to some mutual activity later - neither of us gave the other a birthday present this year, either.I took a bunch of silly pictures recently - almost makes me want to get a pay-account so I can use them all.Tomorrow I'm going to see Return of the King - I heard it's the best of the trilogy... better get some sleep.
